We purchased a new home in Blackstock Mill (Cumming, GA), built by McCar Homes, and have been very unhappy with the quality of the floors. Our contract says "hardwood" floors but have actually received pre-engineered floors that chip, dent, peel, etc... It has to be the cheapest product I have ever seen. We have been told by other flooring companies that this SHAW product has actually been discontinued.
We have expressed our concern and lack of satisfaction with the builder from day 1. We have been very professional with our complaints going through all the proper steps. However, they will not take responsibility for this "cardboard" like product that they have used. Therefore, we write this blog in hopes that others will not make the same mistake and that someone may advise us what else we can do?
